How to cancel your Limemo subscription
Limemo subscriptions are billed by Apple, so you cancel them in iOS Settings rather than in the app. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top of the screen.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Limemo.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
Apple states that a subscription must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. Cancelling does not end the current period: you keep access until the date shown on the subscription screen.
If that didn’t work
- No Limemo row on the Subscriptions screen. You are signed in with a different Apple Account than the one that bought the subscription. Sign in with that account and try again.
- The subscription was bought through Family Sharing. Only the family member who purchased it can cancel it.
- You cannot find the Subscriptions screen. Apple’s own instructions are at support.apple.com and cover every route, including cancelling from a Mac or the App Store app.
- You still see charges after cancelling. Check the Apple Account the charge belongs to — Apple’s receipt email names it.
What happens to my notes after I cancel?
You keep access for the rest of the period you have already paid for. After that your notes stay where they are and stay readable: a subscription governs making new ones, not opening the ones you already have, and nothing is deleted because a subscription ended. Deleting your data is a separate action you can take at any time, subscribed or not.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases go through Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com with the Apple ID that made the purchase, and Apple will tell you the outcome. If you live in the EEA or the UK, the Limemo Subscription Terms also describe your right of withdrawal.
