About Limemo

Limemo is an AI note taker for iPhone and Apple Watch. This page says who builds it, what we decided to build first, and the rules we hold this site to.

Who builds Limemo

Limemo is built by a small team working on the Limemo apps, the Apple Watch app and this site.

The same people write the apps and this site, which is why the help pages know what the app actually does.

Limemo is published by Orvanta Digital Limited, registered in Cyprus; the full company details are on our trust pages.

Why the phone in your pocket, first

Almost every AI note taker on the market starts with online meetings. You invite a bot into a call and it writes the notes afterwards. That is not the problem we set out to solve.

The recordings people actually lose are the ones that happen away from a browser: a lecture, a one-to-one across a table, a site visit, an idea that arrives on a walk. Those need a recorder that is already in your hand or on your wrist, and a note that is readable afterwards without more typing.

So we built capture first, on the devices that are always with you, and then everything a recording needs to become useful: a transcript with speaker labels, a summary in the format you choose, translation, and an AI you can ask about the note. Limemo does not join Zoom or Google Meet calls, and there is no web app you can sign in to from a browser.

How we write this site

  • Product claims come from the product. Every capability described here is one that ships in the app.
  • No invented numbers. We publish the prices, the language count and the number of summary formats. We do not publish accuracy percentages, user counts or App Store ratings; the first two we cannot source, and the third we will publish only once real ratings exist.
  • Competitors are described from public information. Our comparison pages carry the date each fact was checked and a link to the vendor’s own page. We do not claim to have tested another company’s product.
  • AI-assisted writing, human responsibility. We use AI tools while drafting and editing this site. Every published page is reviewed by a person before it goes live, and Japanese and Spanish pages are checked by a native reviewer. The named author of a page is accountable for it.
  • Dated and corrected. How-to articles carry the app version they cover, and the device once the steps have been run on it. When something changes in the app, we update the page and move the date; when we get something wrong, we fix it rather than quietly delete it.
